About 25yrs ago the Mrs. and I went on a vacation to the PNW.
We visited Portland, OR for a few days.
Saw a few sights. Dined in a few recommend restaurants. You know. The generic tourist thing.
We both were taken aback by how plain old ugly many Portlanders were. I’m talking mud fence ugly. Thousands of’em.
While she and I certainly weren’t centerfold material we both went DAYUM there some ooogly people’s here.

Very true. Discipline has to be administered with love. Sounds strange, but true. IMO, parents that lack showing proper discipline towards their children show a lack of love and care for their children.

I can remember several times my father saying, "This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you." As a child, I failed to understand his meaning. As an adult, it makes perfect sense.
