It was a bit garbled, but in his introduction I believe he said he was a Sgt in the Marines. There is also a closed caption in the lower left.I haven't read that thread. I don't even know the guy was a veteran. Excellent speech none the less. At least both of us linked it here.
He was making the point that he was law abiding while others were not, so why punish him - why should he pay for the criminals - why should he be defenseless. He is an honest and frustrated man and I respect him.He's wrong on one point. Many of us won't meekly head down to the collection point to turn in our guns.
