I'll be in town this weekend to visit some family. I'll be getting there around lunch time, but won't be meeting up with family until around 6 or 7pm. So other than walking the SAXET show, what else could I do between lunch and dinner? I'll be staying in the far north west side, practically in Helotes.

Go to Bass Pro at the Rim.

You could go see my mother's cousin in Boerne. She'll talk your ear off until you have to go.

this one will/could eat up 2......maybe 3, it aint that great. Gotta see the ALAMO Bigun, if you can get down town that is

Id kill more time on the trip down.
Cabelas at Buda.
Back roads from there to Boerne.
Bass pro at the rim then meet up with the peeps.
Not a lot for a man to do in NW SA.

Not much here to do on the NW side besides Bass Pro and Fiesta Texas. I'd either spend more time driving down and stopping along the way or head to Saxet and then downtown. You are a week early for fiesta. That's probably a good thing, too many drunks on the road. Forecast for rain is sitting at 40% right now.

I think that and the Riverwalk will be on the to do list with the family.
