Moonpie must have consumed too much of the Vodak already, since he isn’t pestering me about about whether or not a decision has been made.

Let’s just say he’ll find out the answer to his question before Cam does.

    That looks nice!!!

    Specific model info?

And what tipped the scales for this one?

EDC X9: burnt bronze frame, black slide and small parts. magwell, no rail, tritium fiber optic sights, 2x 18 rd mags.

The scales tipped really as I was thinking about what guns I have that are heirlooms and why they came to me. They are all “working” guns with stories that include me in their history.

The DW is a fine gun, but it’s a BBQ pistol. The WC is a working gun and may very well be the last carry pistol I buy. I couldn’t say that about the DW.

And if my son or a grandson gets it one day, I want them to have that memory. You just don’t get that out of a BBQ gun.

Other brought up some other great points to ponder as we exchanged PMs. It also helped that the dealer was selling way below m.a.p.; to the point it wasn’t a significant jump in price from the DW anymore.

Excuse my ignorance... wth is a BBQ gun?
It’s the firearm equivalent of your Sunday go to meetin clothes.

A gun so fancy it mainly only gets used when you go to a BBQ and show it off. of course it goes without saying that it should be open carried.
