I've been thinking about getting a mag pouch for my AR, and I really don't know where to begin. I really only want like a double magazine, and I think I want it on a belt. What works (or doesn't work) for you. I really don't feel the need to get an 6 or 8 mag pouch.

I was just looking on MidwayUSA and came up with these.

California Competition Works Double Magazine Pouch AR-15 30 Round MOLLE Compatible Nylon Coyote Brown - MidwayUSA

Bianchi T6521 Double Magazine Pouch AR-15 Nylon Black - MidwayUSA

    Thanks.

EDIT: also, can't seem to find a drop pouch to use while training. Anyone know where I can get one? Thanks.

I've been using Blade-Tech kydex mag pouches. I've got 2 AR and 2 AK models and I like them both. They make an injection molded model that's pretty affordable as well. I've also got some Eagle Industries MOLLE stuff if that's what you're looking for. It's top-notch too.

You might have to go through a few different tries to find something you like. What you'll be using these for is going to make a difference, too. Just shooting, light competitive, out in the woods, SHTF, etc.?
