I understand your thinking. But I do see a difference in degree. Yes, the libs do support and vote for the leftists, but unlike the leftists you can still have a honest discussion with libs. Some of them anyway. My Mom and I don't usually discuss politics, but even SHE hates Gavin Newsom.

I have a 1/2 sister that is uber liberal. The only time i talk to her is when she calls on holidays. This morning she called, wished me a happy fathers day. That was about the extent of it.

I am very fortunate to have very conservative parents. Most of my siblings are of a same mind besides two of my sisters. I dont discuss politics with them but I do go out of my way to avoid contact with them and their families.

I saw my one sister for the first time in 10 years recently. Her and her husband were talking about taking their 15 year old daughter to get birth control.... Yea I walked out on that one lol. See you in another ten years if this country still exists.

I pretty much shunned most of the family members some years ago that had liberal or left leaning ideals of things. My mother passed some years ago, and she was about the only liberal family member that I would even speak to. She I came to an understanding many years ago about our differences in opinions on politics and such.

Seems like more than a few of the liberals that are in my family, that offered and lent the least effort into my, thought they should have greater input into how I live my life!

And I'm also lucky that most all of my in-laws are right leaning conservatives!

I got a 15yr old daughter...shes dating a 17yr old... we put her on BC. Ain't taking no chances...lol. I don't need to be a grandpa yet...lol.
