So the real question is why are YOU nit picking ?

Your science is magnificent.

Your opinion that our star is "wonderful" reeks of homo-sapien-centric bias.

Our star is mundane and not particularly special to most non-earthdwelling species.

And let the iron be. It's creation has already sapped our suns fusion energy or it would not be there. More important, species-to-be a billion years from now will need the iron for mortars to kill one another.
