When I was young, the old timers would give us advice. We seldom listened, but now that I'm old I see the wisdom in what they tried to teach me and so I will try to pass it on with a story to make it easy to understand.

There once was a young man with 3 girlfriends. It was too much for him to keep up with all the dates and birthdays and such, so he decided to cut the herd down to one. So one weekend he grilled a mess of chicken and called the girlfriends and asked each one to make a side dish. The brunette showed up with a pot of rice. The redhead showed up with a pot of mac and cheese. The blonde showed up with a pot of green beans with ham.
