You have to be able to speak social justice and double speak to make sense of some of it. Pay close attention to the double standard, if you ever had a pee-pee, even if it's been removed, you're still evil.

When I started work at my job, I neglected to check off the ethnicity box.

About a week later, a rep from HR and one from EEO came to visit me (and my supervisor).

They again asked me to choose one of the options, and I declined. They then looked at me for a few seconds, and one of them said "You appear to be of white, Caucasian, or European ancestry." I told them that I didn't really care, so they said that they would check off that box for me.

I find that odd when we supposedly live in a time when racism is considered bad. If racism is so awful, why is the side that sees it everywhere also so hung up about it? Or did I just answer my own question?
