If y’all are in favor of open carry in Texas, HB 2756 is likely up for vote on the House Floor on Monday. If enough state reps vote for the bill, there is still time to get it through the Senate. What can you do? Contact your state representative and state senator by phone and by email and let them know you expect them to support HB 2756. Do this no later than Sunday, May 8! Here is where to find the contact info for your particular state representative and state senator: For state representatives go to: Texas House of Representatives : House Members For state senators go to: The Texas State Senate: Current Members of the Texas Senate When emailing, be sure to give your name, address, and telephone number. That’s so they will know you are one of their voting constituents and not just someone soliciting votes.

Fired a support email off to my rep (Dawna Dukes) and senator (Kirk Watson). I'm guessing this will be time, well....., spent (vice time well spent). But at least they will hear from a 2A supporter.

And for you LSCDL people who fought for this against what it seemed like was a sea of 2A supporters who didn't want to "waste their time" supporting this going-nowhere legislation, we thank you!!!
