Today's lay-away experience at Cabela's...

I put an Excel Arms Accelerator 17 pistol on lawaway today...

I've been eyeballing it for about a month now... decided to pop $131.xx down and have 90 days to pay the other $300... it also gives me some time to do some more research to make sure I want it before walking out with it.

I think you can convert it to a 22 mag or something like that so if I have too much trouble with the .17 rounds in a semi auto pistol I can convert and not have wasted my entire $$$$...

The one I am getting has the two mags, box, and everything that came with it, but no scope or red dot...

I am aware about the possible issues of the jamming, but I am still thinking about this for a couple of reasons... I am also going to email Excel and talk to them a little bit and inquire about the conversion to a 22mag...
