Took my kid to Gas Monkey this weekend.

was in FTW hanging for the weekend, stopped in at the bar & grill. think of it as a hard rock cafe but gas monkey. food was decent and moderately priced, but the place was packed.

then drove 2 minutes down the way to the shop. the doors to the bays were closed (it was cold as shit). they also had "please do not enter, filming in progress" signs posted. but the merch store was open to anyone.

That episode(s) recently reaired and I was bored.

The buddy bought the car and GMG was on the hook for fixing it. GMG put in 300K in parts and labor and sold out to the buddy for $100K+the shop tab.

I don't know what neighborhood you live in but I hardly call pocketing 100Gs losing ...

That storry is muddied in reality tv. It recebtly went to auction though and they lost money. Before auction fees.

Also, what i thought was odd, the burnout area was clean. In the show the parking lot is blaaaaaaack from all the donuts. Now it looks like it has been pressurewashed.
