Tranporting meat

I am thinking about going to some other state to hunt. Anyone got ideas to ship the meat back or any specialized services that do so ?

Dry Ice, most meat markets carry it.

If you are hunting with an outfitter, they should be able to make arrangements for you.

Vote for outfitter to help out, otherwise check into some places that may offer the service. Make sure someone on the other end can receive the shipment.

Couple of years ago when my friends hunted hogs here we just wrapped the stuff up put it in plastic tote, filled them with ice and checked them for the flight home. Shouldn't be an issue if your flights aren't too long...
