Batteries died on my TLR-2 the other day. Replaced the batteries and now the laser doesn't function. The light works, but not the laser. This is all following a trip to the range. Ideas?

Surefire is good stuff, but god help you if you need customer support.
There customer support is great. I have nothing but stellar support from them on their products. I know one of the common mistakes everyone makes with Surefire is trying to contact them by e-mail. You have to do things the old fashion way and use a phone.

I would try another set of batteries. If it worked before they burned out and does not work with "new batteries"'maybe they were not really good.

I do love Surefire's products, used it while in the desert. The reason I went with a Streamlight TLR-2s for my Sig P228 was because I specifically wanted a quality product with the strobe effect.

I haven't had a chance to contact Streamlight about the issue yet with all of the initial stages of wedding planning going on. Maaaaaaan, am I tired!
