Sure and we've seen this shit before. We send in troops to evacuate US citizens, the Libyan madman falls out of power and we now have a mission to protect American presence in country. There is always more to the story than our government says. Just wait and see..................

In regard to the political protests - yeah seeing these idiots get their asses kicked would be nice. However, politically doing nothing and letting them do what they are doing is doing them more damage than anything anybody could think of. Watching the idiots in Wisconsin protest and seeing the things they have done and said is funny as hell. We heard how evil, violent and racist the Tea Party is but they have never shown 1 piece of evidence. On the other hand there is plenty of evidence to support how evil, violent and racist liberals and union people are. Normal people are waking up to it and we have already seen the first response in the mid-term elections. In 2 years at the rate we are going there won't be any democrats in office anywhere.

As for the Marines going to Libya - sounds like we are setting up for another Mogadishu. A weak kneed leader in a situation that calls for an iron fist and a willinginess to use it.

Well, let's see. We don't have the F-111 any more to send over there to bomb Qaddafi's house (well, not his house but a few of his relatives did get hit in that 1986 raid) but we still have B1-Bs and B2s to do the job...from a much higher altitude this time with better "smart" munitions.
