I hope they're successful because that will then set a precedent for other western states with large federal government ownership ... like my own state of Nevada which is mostly under government control/ownership.

Technically UNESCO. Alot of national parks (of which Utah has a large portion of) are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Still plays into the larger goals behind Agenda 21.

Agreed, ignorance of it will only hasten the destruction of private property rights worldwide and herd more of the worlds population into metropolitan centers and we all know how that tends to affect the way people vote.

The US has 59 parks with full National Park status - Utah has 5 of them
US controlled land: Dept of Interior = BLM and Parks, while Dept. of Agriculture = National Forests
BLM+US Forest Service+Parks controls much of the western US

UNESCO WHS's are both Cultural and Natural - none are in Utah that I can see: United States of America - UNESCO World Heritage Centre

Heh, well I'll be. Didn't actually look it up so I'm glad you struck down my false claim on that. Still wouldn't be surprised if the UN finds some way to weasel into the discussion on returning the lands.

Texas is 13th from the least at 1.8%. That's disappointing... We should have the least!
