Which one is better? The 6800 is in my old (currently dead) computer, the 520 is in the one I'm using right now. I can't figure out if one's better than the other, and which one that would be. Anybody know?

It really depends on your Operating System.

The 6800GT is an older high-end DirectX 9 Video Card ideal for Windows XP.
The GT 520 is a newer low-end DirectX 11 Video Card ideal for Windows 7.

The GT 520 should be better but used on Windows XP you will not see
all the benefits that a DirectX 11 Video Card offers. You need Windows 7.

The Nvidia G-Force 500 series has been replaced by the 600 Series.
A 520 or 620 is usually an OEM Vendor Video Card found in pre-built
systems and normally not found for sale in a retail package in stores.

    A G-Force GT 660, 670, 680 or 690 would be recommended depending
on your budget and Video Games that you play. If you play simple Games
the GT 520 should be fine. If you play Games like MMOs, RTS or FPS that
are more graphically demanding you will benefit from a higher-end Video Card
to play at high or maximum settings with the highest frame rate on a big LCD
Monitor. The larger size that the monitor and resolution are, the higher the need.
