I’ve got a procedural voting question for the collective knowledge/experience of the group.

On ‘Election Day’ you must vote at the officially approved location(s) for the Precinct in which you are assigned. During “early voting” you can generally vote anywhere (within the County in which you reside). Why is that?

Are the ballots different? If there are lower Precinct-level votes to be taken, does that mean you don’t get a chance to vote on those things if you ‘early vote’ (i.e., they’re not on an early voting ballot)? Why do they limit you to vote at only your precinct approved location on Election Day?

Yes the valence the ballots are different depending on what district you live in for example you may live in the district which votes for Pete Sessions versus calling all red and someone else may live in the district represented by some other person so one ballot will have the sessions all red and the other one won't it's all dependent upon the little key that they put in to the voting machine.
