Walmart and Ammunition Sales

That information is inaccurate,” said Ashley Hardie, a spokeswoman located at Walmart’s corporate headquarters in Bentonville, Ark.

WND then asked whether the retail chain is cutting back on orders of ammunition.

“No,” Hardie said. “We’re continuing to serve our customers as we have in the past.”

She said Walmart’s ammunition sales policy has not changed, even amid talk of gun-control legislation in Washington, D.C.

So there is the official position on the subject.....from Corporate.....

Everyone is low on ammo, ranges, gun shops and yes...even good old Wal-Mart.....just because they don't have it.......doesn't mean they quit selling it.

I have bought a metric shit ton of ammo from Walmart over the years. When they have stock their prices are next to impossible to beat.

My local Walmart also carries re-loading supplies.

Called a few distributors today and all confirmed a year of backorder. That does not mean we wont see ammo for another year, but it would be a year before we see prices come back to normal.
