5 inches or 8 inches. I'd go with the 5 inch pistol, with a chance of form 1 in the future.

If I was jumping into the 5.7x28 I would grab a PS90. They are a blast to shoot and 50 rounds is nothing to sneeze at in a package that weighs in under 8 pounds.
