I have picked up four Warbird Leather holsters over the past year or two. All OWB snap on (Warbird does make a variety of types, not just OWB snap on).
Great value. Good thick leather. Sweatshield. Excellent finish. Tight fit on the belt. Good fit with the pistol. Makes for an excellent draw when used with a decent belt. Really keeps the pistol snug up against your side. Comfortable with a 1911 worn all day.
You can get patches (or entire holster, I assume) in elephant, shark, ostrich. Various finish options are available as well.
And Paul is a great guy to deal with. I once overpaid and would never have caught it. Paul immediately issued a refund for the overpayment, then emailed to let me know. He will often accommodate special/custom orders if possible.
One man shop. Sometimes may have some stock on the shelf. Leadtime of six weeks, but often does better.
