WE ARE HIRING! We are looking for someone to join the team at our front desk. The front desk folks make or break us - your warm voice and smiling welcome puts people at ease.
Primary duties are answering phones and responding to emails, scheduling patients, addressing patient phone questions with the help of the doctor and/or team, communicating with other offices (calls, emails, and/or typed letters), and preparing invoices and collecting money. Because we are out-of-network with all insurances, there is little (but not zero) insurance paperwork to be done. This team member will help in the back as needed, especially if another team member is out that day.
BLS certification is required. We can help you arrange a class. You will work with Intuit Quickbooks and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook everyday. We can train on Quickbooks but basic proficiency with the Word and Excel are required.
Applicants should exhibit good listening skills, speak cheerfully and clearly, and be organized. Sometimes it will feel like 5 things are happening at once and you need to be able to go back and handle all the loose ends. We like policies & procedures. Spanish is a plus. Medical or dental office experience is a plus. Front desk experience at any service-related company is a plus.
Pay is based on experience and starts at $15/hr for entry-level. We have defined steps for advancement without time restrictions - if you accomplish the items at each level, you can advance regardless of time.
