I used a new Weaver 2.5x10-56mm scope today and I have to say it was a pretty nice optic. The glass had TONS of light, but that's not exactly rocket science with a 30mm tube and a 56mm bell, but I was pretty pleased with it. Anyone else have one of their newer scopes?

I had a Grand Slam 3-10x40 on a .22-250 set-up I used to use. Very clear optics, very solid one piece tube. I was pleased with it. The adjustments were positive and tracked very well. And after banging around through brush and being subject to southwest Texas dust, rain and fog, it kept true. I know a .22-250 doesnt deal a lot of punishment on a scope, but I would not hesitate to put one on a .338 or smaller magnum.
