Weekend gun show

I would have to give this weekend's gunshow a big thumbs down. Very overpriced Was not impressed with the stock either.

I haven't been to a good gunshow in a while. I usually get spare parts, accessories or ammo when I'm at one anyway.

Had one here this weekend. Saw some WWII 1911's for 800 bucks. Some nice stuff this show, but no aimpoint optics.

With the exception of Academy and Cabelas which sucks, everybody in a real store offers better after the sale service than the gun shows.

Sorry to hear that the show sucked. The one in Houston was pretty good, and the prices beat most all the gun store prices.

I've been in EP for two years and still haven't made it to a gun show. Every time I think I'll go to one somebody reminds me how bad the last one was. I think I need to work on planning a vacation somewhere with a better show. It'll be "Hey look honey a gun show. Lets just check it out really quick."

Good luck with that....my wife would be on to me, quick-like!! She won't even let me drive by Academy, or any other store with ammo and stuff....

It would be okay if they didn't trick you with the five dollars at the door I don't mind going to a bad FREE gun show..but when I pay a five dollar entry fee AND prices inside are jacked up, i'm not too happy.
