A perfect example is the NRA and yes, I am a member, but how many law suits have they filed to enable them to put commercials on national media outlets informing the average person, non gun owner, of "our side"? Perhaps if they spent the money they spend on selling insurance and asking for money on informing the general public we would have a chance. The only other chance is a national VOI movement. Not sure I agree in this case. The Democrats don't have anybody else in Texas with the kind of national, celebrity like name recognition and momentum she carries right now. If we can knock her out now (a big and unlikely "if") they'd replace her with another lackluster nobody and Abbott could coast the rest of the way. The longer she stays in, the more money she raises from the hardcore left and the more possibility of the GOP screwing something up.

I've said this before and I will continue to say it up until election night - do NOT underestimate this woman or the lengths to which the left will go to turn Texas blue. TAKE NOTHING FOR GRANTED.

Renegade, By "continue to lose" I did not mean to imply elections, I meant in the broader scope of losing our rights as noted after that. There can be loss in elections, the demographics in Texas are changing, and as a result, a win may not be a guarantee.

I cannot express my extreme frustration with the fact that someone who abused their husband like this was able to get into the Texas legislature and is now running for governor. There shouldn't be a single male who votes for her PERIOD.
