I see where he is a member of the Aspen Institute and the CFR..

that puts me at odds with him.. what the hell is he doing hanging around that bunch of globalist assholes like Madeline Albright, Henry Louis Gates and Condaleeza Rice.

I guess I'll look into Ken Paxton.

after looking into it more.. Ken Paxton is the best guy by far for the job.

Dan Branch has too many connections to places I don't think a Tx Attorney General needs to be.

he looks smooth on the outside but I think he's very suspect

I prefer Paxton or Smitherman over Branch, based on nothing other than a campaign call I received that implied that Dan Branch was endorsed by John Carona. Carona is as slimy as they come and the literal embodiment of everything that's wrong with politics today. Anybody who associates with him doesn't get my vote if there is another viable candidate. In this race, there are two.

btw, that is also what struck Dan Patrick off the list for me - he's very closely tied to Carona. Plus, Patterson is hands down the most pro-2nd Amendment candidate we've had for Lt. Governor, or really anything, in a long time.
