My dad gave me a small bag of parts this evening after we stopped to visit. Random firearms parts.
The only thing I could instantly recognize was the leaf style rear sight - not sure what gun its for, lots of guns use similar rear sights.
I have no idea what the block with the two thumb screws is, and the other part *looks* like a hood for a sight assembly but I don't know. It's marked REDFIELD on the base. The hood is a dovetailed part that slides in to the base, which appears to attach to a barrel via two mounting screws. Both it and the weird block have "7A" inscribed on their bottoms.
