This is about US building a gallows to make a statement...not THEM...swords weren't made to rattle, but to fight. Same like why waste ammo shooting up in the air, why tip them off by building a gallows to show our stance and challenge them. We're way past demonstrations.

Instead of spending time and money to erect a gallows, just find suitable trees or a sturdy structure the ropes to hang off. Or, in keeping with cultural diversity and learning from the ways of the beloved socialist favorites of the left, just bind the people and place them the railroad tracks. Let the train do the rest. I understand this was a big hit in China once the mostly peaceful communist protestors liberated the downtrodden Chinese proletariat from the shackles of the bourgeoisie.
