2 part question. What events do you want to live to see also what events are you pretty sure you will see before you die.

Ya it's almost 3 am and I rarely sleep more than a couple hours at a time so why not ponder ones existence and future. Even being a crippled crotchety bastard who lives in a decent ammount of constant pain, I say phuck you Mr Reaper. I've got too much to see n do. I plan on living forever.

First I want to see massive space exploration. A winning Powerball ticket in my hand and the resources to give a good future to my loved ones. Also as much SCI-FI become reality as possible.

I think I will see the end of cancer as a means of death. The Israelis and the Brits have both made recent discoveries that should make that possible. Maybe even in a decade or less.

I think I will see the end of people dying on a waiting list for organs. The Brits have developed an artificial heart with a medium that they grow the patients own tissue over it to eliminate rejection. It uses near field tech so while it has an internal battery as back up it uses an external battery and fits completely in your chest with no need for external connections. I hope its employees shielded, lol. Also they are making great strides on growing organs. I'm pretty sure I'll get to see this too.

I will get to see human colonies on the moon and mars and maybe, just maybe other places.

    What about you?
Your turning a highrise into your personal gun room is a given. What else?

A man on Mars...if they hurry.

When I was a kid, getting to the moon was almost a fantasy. Never thought I would see it. Kids now days don't really appreciate the magnitude of that accomplishment.

Some things I'll probably never see:

    A cure for cancer
A cure for the common cold
    Colonies on Mars
    Time travel
    World Peace
    Unlimited low cost energy

Alaskan hunting trip- moose, caribou, salmon & halibut.

    Indy 500 just once

    World Series, every game

    Sunrise in Australia.

Since I found out I’m mostly Irish, I want to go to Ireland.

Big pharma won’t ever allow a cure for cancer to exist.

Don’t think HC will ever make it to jail.

    1. A return to respect for the Constitution, the work of the Founding Fathers and the sacrifices our fathers made to protect both.

    2. The return of some level of truth and respectability in the news media.

    3. The purging of the queers and communists from our educational system.

    4. One day with the strength to wade to a duck blind with 3 boxes of 12 ga. shells and my old Remington 1100 and then walk out with a limit of greenheads

    5. One more perfect day of salmon fishing on the Umpqua River in Oregon beginning with a limit of Dungeness crabs at first light and then trolling for Chinook when the tide changes followed by a char grilled salmon steak and a cold beer as the sun goes down.

    6. One decent hit on the Powerball so I can say that 40 years of playing was not for nothing.

Sad to say that the odds of #6 are probably the best.
