Yup, walked in on Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m., and they helped me out pretty quick. Not a bad shop. Overpriced on some items but can't complain on this purchase.

I was in there about 11a on a Tuesday this past January intent on purchasing a WC EDC X9 from them.

First guy I talked to said “Let me get someone to help you”. Ten mins later, he came back and said it’ll be just another couple mins. One other sales guys was with customer, two more guys behind the counter just shooting the breeze.

I waited another ten minutes without another interaction with the staff, so I left.

    Gunz are icky.
    Nagel's is hit or miss.
Normally its like Todd's experience but once in a while they're helpful. The knife guy up front is usually friendly.
Prices there are just stupid on most items.
What kills me is that back room with all the neat old used stuff is like a friggin museum. NOTHING moves out of there. You'd think they would drop prices a bit to actually sell something? I swear there are guns in there that been on the shelf for 15yrs.

You ever try negotiating the price? I've never been there, but a few of the shops I've visited usually price knowing that someone is going to try for a better price.

I sold a gun on consignment at Nagels.
After a week or so I called and was told it sold and I could come down and collect my money.
I showed up and a sales guy went and got the papers and the money. It was a bit short. The sales guy said that the gun was discounted and sold for less money.
I said that I wasn't called to discuss any discount.
Ron Nagel came over looked at the paperwork, showed the sales guy that no such phone call was logged in. He said pay the man the full amount.
On another occasion I was buying ammo to donate to a veteran's fun shoot. Ron gave me something like 15% off.
Okay prices were high, but that's why I wanted to sell there.

    The scope looks crooked.
It's not crooked. The rail gives the shooter 20 MOA slant built-in so that the shooter doesn't run out of elevation adjustment on their scope. That's a pretty nice feature in the long-distance shooting game. I believe you can get 0 MOA, 30 MOA, and 40 MOA rails too, in the aftermarket.

Oh, it's crooked alright. The reticle isn't level.

Long story short I hastily mounted that scope in those rings on a different rifle.

I don't think Vaquero had time to straighten it out, Loctite if desired, or set the eye relief since we met up. I also never checked the rail mounting.

Bought this AC 45 P38 this morning.......for my personal collection....non import...non matching (in 1945 they weren't too concerned about matching parts..lol) Honest holster wear with some small corrosion spots scattered.....good shooter, bore is actually very good....

Actually bought two...the other a Spreewerk from 42-43 all matching non import w/holster. Another customer was here when I bought them and made me a good offer on it....so out the door it went.....

Do not know about the Sig. Shot this and fell in love. Best shooting pistol I have ever shot. Guy I bought this from had both and kept the M17.

    P220 or P320?

I meant 320/M17. The new gubment pistola. I like them both in the FDE. Supposedly they have the 320 issues fixed. Loves me some Sigs, but the 19X is dang sexy.

Tough choice. Gotta wait a while anyway. Bleeding money right now.

Cam, which Walther was it that you liked?

    That's why I asked.

I have a PPQ Navy, and yes, I like it.

I have shot both extensively, and don’t believe you can go wrong with either. I have this Redhawk .

    Both shoot amazingly well.

I had the stainless version of this years ago. 7.5” 44 mag, bought it from a former member of this forum. Loved the gun, but traded it down for something far less valuable and some cash down the line.

The gun soaked up the recoil and was quite a tack driver.
