Went to modern outfitters to have an adjustment made to a rifle...they made me a deal I couldn’t refuse.

LE trade-in, ridiculous 16” barrel in 300 BLK.
I can always swap barrels...could be a good pig gun as it sits

Very nice! Looks great, but ............. I'm old and would probably need some sights, etc. :green:

I’m for sure making her into a pig gun...rifle weighs right at 6 lbs, so I’m sticking with the lightweight theme.

I’ve got a Vortex HD LH (Lightweight Hunter) optic that I’m putting on her, as soon as my 3-ounce Aero Precision scope mount arrives.

Not regretting this impulse purchase at all anymore, after spending a few hours last night googling “300 BLK hunting”.

Performance is very good with supersonic loads, equal to 7.62x39 from what I’m reading

I loaded some 210 grain Hornady bullets for my 300BLK pistol and they're moving just over 1200 fps best I can figure. It's really neat to shoot and very little recoil.
I love shooting mine, especially at cinder blocks, caliche bricks and soda bottles. Very destructive.

The AR pistol thread has me considering a 300 BLK pistol again. And sorting brass, I have managed to pickup 40 pieces of 300 BLK brass in my scrounging. I practically have to build one now right?

    Is that a star reloader?

No, it’s the only known Hollywood Progressive Model known to exist. Not to be confused with the Hollywood Automatic.

I originally did not give such a short answer. Like a totally obsessed nerd I went into detail about different Hollywood’s with pics. And then about my Stars that I have as well. I decided this was not the thread to throw up in, so I deleted it. If you want to know more, just ask and I’ll post information in the reloading section.

If the short answer is fine, that’s ok as well.
