Just got back from Reds and here is my report:

    1. Hi Standard - shot 50 rounds with 2 hiccups (failure for slide to fully engage next round) but was accurate at 21 feet (about a 3" grouping).
2.Old Ruger MKI had a few hiccups with original mag but no issues with MKII mags used. Fairly accurate with 28 rounds shot. About the same grouping as Hi Standard.
    3. The 10" Ruger MKII was very accurate and fun to shoot. Shot at distances of 21 feet and 45 feet and in different scenarios (repetitive shooting vs. one shot every 3 seconds or so). At 21 feet one shot every 3 seconds about a 1.75" group and at 45 feet about 3" group. Repetitive shooting at 21 feet was about 3.5" groupings and at 45 feet about 4.5" groupings.

Only thing I am about to get is Hogue grips for it as the original white grips are too nice to dirty up. LOL.

I've been wanting one of these for a while. They've been harder to come by lately but I told myself if I found one under 6 bills it would be mine. I'll be breaking it in tomorrow.

Gen 5 G19. Total impulse buy while buying new Duty Boots at GT distributors in Garland. Was going to go Gen 3 but Gen 5 was same price via Blue Label program.

Update once you've broken her in, I'm curious about the new gen 5s as I was never much of a fan of the gen 4s!

Didn't buy any today yet, but over the past week I've bought a S&W model 66, a S&W model 13, and an M&P pro Core model in .40 caliber. I think I need to stop doing all this!

What's the barrel length on the model 66?
It's a 4"...I already had a 2 1/2 inch, along with some other variations in 3". I think the 4 incher might bite the dust this afternoon. I have a friend that wants it and is offering a Springfield M1-A with a bunch of extra mags for it.
Funny thing, but as I am typing this...I look up at the tv and Broken Arrow movie is on and the park ranger is pointing a 4" model 66 at the guy. Strange...

I've been watching these for really good prices and couldn't resist the urge anymore.
Not much of an AR guy but this one got me pretty excited.
My FFL even ordered one after seeing mine.

    Ruger M77 in 44 Mag
I bought it new, yesterday. and had Cabelas mount the Vortex Crossfire 2 that I bought at the same time
I took a can of flat olive green camo paint to the stock, I just like the dark green verses the black synthetic
These were on clearance for $399, I got the last one in Lubbock
I plan on buying a Boyds laminate for it soon

Nice choices. I have a model 13 with a 4" barrel. Great gun.

Never seen that one before. Quite a raked angle on the grip. What does the button under the barrel (in front of the trigger guard) do? Magazine release?

That button on the High Standard 22 is the barrel release for take down to clean.

Picked up my new CZ 527 American Synthetic Suppressor-Ready in .300BLK on Friday and got it dressed Sunday night. It will use my "whore can" Octane 9 and shoot subs only until my Sandman Ti comes home sometime next year. Scope is a Vortex Diamondback HP 2-8x32 on a set of factory CZ rings (included with the rifle).

Put my first 150 rounds though it yesterday. Shoots as nice as any other GLOCK I've fired. I'm liking the no finger grooves. The Finger grooves on the 17 fit me fine but the 19's have always been a little off for me. The "dehorned" nose of the slide I always liked on the 26. I'm glad to see it make it to the other pistols. Seems to make re holstering a little smoother. Eats steel case just fine which is a must for me but I didn't expect different out of a GLOCK honestly.

Certainly not revolutionary by any means but a good EVOLUTION of the pistol.
