Got in my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6mm creedmoor, $810 shipped. Picked up 200 rounds of hornady 105gn bthp factory loads for $190. I have a scope I plan on using but need some higher rings.

Plan is to burn it in with the 200 rounds of 105's then start in on some hand loads.

I'll put up some pics in the rifle thread when it gets going.

Remington Rolling Block Model 1 1/2 in 32 Rimfire...
The plan is to convert it to 32-20.

I've since found out more information about this rifle...
It was made in 1900 (thank you, Remington customer service), but it is a Model 4, not a 1 1/2 like I thought. So, I won't be converting it to 32-20, there's not enough metal in the chamber area to tempt fate. Once I do a chamber casting and find out if it's 32 RF short or long, I'll probably buy some specially machined brass that lets you use a 22 short casing as a primer and either Trail Boss or 2F as a load behind a .32 round.
Someday if I ever stumble across a spare breech block, I might re-chamber it to 32 S & W and drill the breech block for a centerfire firing pin.
It goes without saying that Remington recommended against shooting it.

I went by at lunch to try my Ruger Revolver but it was crowded inside the range despite the drizzly weather.

Was looking thru the cases and behold, a Smith and Wesson Model 645.

I looked it over and was very good condition. Bad thing it only came with 1 mag.

I could not turn down the great price and brought it.

These were made in the mid 1980s till about 88 if I remember.

It is heavy as it is made totally of stainless steel and only plastic part is the grips.

Badass! Haven't even been looking for receivers lately, but must have! OOS unfortunately....
Glad I ordered when I did then. A buddy sent me the link earlier in the week and I waited around and didn’t order and it went OOS. Got the email today about it being back in stock and ordered right away. I wasn’t in the msrket either but couldn’t let it pass me by twice. Semper Fidelis!!!

Allllll most bought one.. again today. Instead of put a deposit down on another CZ75... local pawn shop allows lay-aways; and I'm on a mission go get a good/fun 9mm PCC so I didn't want to fully pull the trigger until I get the PCC... but at least I know it's coming home at some point.. probably in the next 2 weeks.. and good chance there is one of those 14" shottys coming home at the same time. One thing that I have learned about myself.. if I look at a gun (or type of gun) more than twice.. I know that it's a matter of time before I buy one (or 6). Looking forward to hearing how / if you like it!!
