I just showed how it was described on the site where I bought it. I do not believe it's training ammo after seeing its muzzle velocity/muzzle energy specs and after seeing it listed as defense ammo on SIG's site. Of course, not to say I would not train with it if I had enough at a good enough price. I prefer training with the same ammo I will be carrying.

I’ve bought some a box at a time It usually says self defense on the box. Those tips look vicious. Have not shot any yet.

That packaging looks different than I bought. It may be training ammo just loaded with the Vcrown.
