    That just applies to people with the build of a 12 y/o girl...
    Hate to be a buzzkill by injecting facts into a series of jokes but that's just not true. In fact, more mass on the part of the shooter means more force will be absorbed before the body starts to move with the recoil. I've seen a very slightly-built female (employing good form) shoot a .375H&H and giggling with glee. Her tiny body just rolled with the recoil. I swear, she would have shot it all day if the ammo hadn't been so expensive.

    A big guy like me? Rifles like that just hurt.

    I haven't shot my father's old farm gun, a base-trim Model 12 Winchester in 20 gauge, in a couple of decades. Maybe I'll bring it. Some of you who are interested in the way things were done 100 years ago might find it interesting.

    Personally, I never could hit a damn thing with a shotgun.
