Ended brake pads badly a few months ago.
Cheapest Autozone Duralast was all I could find locally on my half ton Silverado.

Braking sucked, standing on the pedal wouldn’t activate abs, even in the wet.
I think heavy 33” mud tires contributed to this.
    Had two semi-close calls,nearly rear-ending cars.

Front rotors were borderline thin, so I replaced them with some medium duty rotors and Hawk Super Duty pads. I’ve known these pads to be dusty, but have had good experience with them on 3/4 ton trucks.

Bedded the pads, braking is so much better now.
I can activate abs in the dry and I don’t have to stand on the pedal.

Not done anything yet but thinking about the timing belt on wife's car.

    2013 Acura, V6, only 33,000 mi.

Gets around 600 miles / year. It would be an old-age rather than mileage replacement.
    Probably wait another couple years...
Going to do a driveway brake fluid flush soon as the weather permits.

A bad left knee would easily prevent it.

Aging knees, city traffic and manual don’t mix. And it’s not like we’re talking asthmatic vehicles like my first car with 64HP and a three speed slush box. Six speed double clutch shifts faster and better than I ever could.

Autos have a place just NOT in a sports car imo. However the snew slush box and comp comtrols can definitely out do the old ways in speed of shifts and gear selection.
