I’ve had at least one Rohrbaugh on me most days since I got my first one in 2006.

The Remington RM380 is virtually identical to the Rohrbaugh R9. Notable differences are obviously the caliber, the location of the mag release and an added slidestop.

It’s also the steal of the gun industry at $250-300 considering that a Rohrbaugh 380 went for $1000-1100.

Yeah, I understand that confidence sucks toward Remington. But Rohrbaugh already did all of the hard work.

Honestly, there's nothing wrong with my modern production Remington 1911 that a few aftermarket parts didn't fix ;)

After 25 years of being a 9mm guy, I acquired a 1911 in .45 ACP last year and have been carrying it almost exclusively. Without getting into a debate over the merits of 1911 vs Glock, I have recently decided to stop carrying my 1911 and go back to a Glock 19. The reason has nothing to do with reliability, capacity, or ballistics. The problem is that my 1911 tends to put tiny holes in my shirts, and I am not sure how they are getting snagged.

I guess my next weapon will have to be a .45 ACP strike fire, and it will most likely become my EDC. I am looking at Glock, Springfield Armory and Walther.

My shirts get caught between the cocked hammer and my vehicle seat to create the little holes.

Maybe it is driving, riding (motorcycle) and just sitting in general. I could try to tuck it in behind my pistol and effectively open carry in those instances.

That’s basically what I do. I tuck my shirt behind my holster when I sit down. Reduces the number of those little holes in my shirts.
