If you have a CHL and have your gun on you, then you can carry as big of a blade as you want. Otherwise there is a limit, not sure the exact length or if it's different in San Antone though.

San Antonio has an ordinance banning carry of locking folders with blades under 5.5 inches. Most people ignore it as it is not heavily enforced, and it would be a class C.
