What length 10/22 barrel for long range?

Off hand or bench? Off hand you'll like the weight up front of the barrel. Bench I don't see why you'd go over 16.5 inches

As I take it .22s burn their powder up in 16". Hypers may use a little more length but I wouldn't imagine it to be much more.

You definitely want to have a thick barrel though.

Not all cartridges burn their powder in the same length. I just heard .22s do.

Late to the party but in my 10/22 with Blazer bulk with that same barrel puts out 1/2 MOA groups at 50 yards. You'll enjoy that stick!

Holy shit.... If Blazer is still as shitty as I remember it being (I run nothing but CCI Minimag or Remington green-box subsonic in either of my .22s, had some -bad- experiences with Blazer as a kid), then that is one scary-good barrel.

You got optics on that gun, or just iron sights?

Doc I run a BSA Sweet 22 3x9. And it was Winchester Western in that target, but Blazer does pretty well too.
