I have had about 5 Orlite mags sitting around since the early 90s. Never used them until about 2001 or 2 and discovered that they sucked ass.
That was the general consensus of the internet commandos who "Repair laser printers by day, secretly watch Sponge Bob Squarepants in teh evening and spend half the night arguing with other asshats on ARFCOM" (To quote the L.A.V.) and that was my operational evaluation of the magazines.
Being a horder and refusing to throw a mag away even if it there was no standard capacity magazine ban in place, I had to find a use for them.
I had an idea. My grandfather-in-law had the woodworking expertise:
Now see if you can figure out with is odd about one of the lowers in the photo . . . .
Anyway, If you have some shitty non-functional mags that you will not sell off to someone because you have too much personal integrity, but you just can't trash them . . . here is a potential project for you.
