84 300zx 2+2. I hated that it wasn't the coupe or a turbo. But it was still quick and had a 5 speed and T-tops. Me and my friends use to take turns laying on the back hatch while holding onto the center part of top. Then we would go rip E brake slides around corners while our legs dangled off the back. Fun stupid times!

Used Ford Fairmont. It got me to work and High School. Had a nice tape player. Later, I ended up with a Nissan stick shift, in midnight blue with no air condition. My first new truck was a Toyota Tundra. My latest is a 2007 (used) that is still running like a top.

1966 Pontiac Sprint Lemans 6 cyl OHC 4bbl carb took premium
red stripe fat tires, black racing stripe (all factory standard)

Great car, bought new with cash from 3 long summers of neighborhood grass mowing.

Sold it 5 years later to a guy who immediately messed up the engine, as he said "no 6 cyl needs premium gas".

Most of you had cool rigs. Mine was an 85 mercury marquis...with a saggy headliner and a leaky muffler.
My '87 Cavalier had no headliner, lol. I guess that is better than a sagging one.

Remember the 8 Track players? There we were cruising down the road listening to Stairway To Heaven, and all of a sudden it ate the tape. Everywhere ya went there was an 8 track cassette tape on the side of the road, with the tape all tangled up.

1988 Mazda B2200 in late ‘95, just before I turned 16 in early ‘96. Regular can, short bed, manual trans, terrible steering and no cup holders. I remember it being a challenge trying to drive, hold a soda and smoke a cigarette all at the same time.

Remember the short-lived Subaru Justy? It was like a little pick-up, but it had two seats facing towards the back. And it had seat belts, lol.

The tiny pickup with the seats in the back was the Subaru Brat. That way it was a passenger car, not a light truck and not subject to the 25% chicken tax.

The Brat was sold in the US 1978 through 1987. Not THAT short-lived.

The Subaru Justy was the tiniest little 4x4 (sold in the US 1987 to 1994, with 4wd available as an option starting in 1988) ever:
