What was your first gun?

arisaka type 99. My grandfather found it under the couch and brought it up to Maine to give to me. He claims he doesn't know where he got it from.

My second was a Enfield No. 5 jungle carbine the real deal and cost $20.

My first is my No4 Mk1 that I paid $75 for.

I've never dispatched an animal with anything but a pellet gun as my dad & grandpa always left me at the house when they went hunting.

Killed a few rabbits and a lot of snakes with a pump-charged Daisy pellet rifle with a 3x scope and a cheap Daisy CO2 pellet pistol that was shaped like a Buckmark.


My first firearm that I owned outright was my Springfield XDm .40.

My first post here. Dad bought me a Rem 600 Mohawk in 6mm when I was 10 to hunt with. The trigger still feels like there is gravel in it and it still shoots sub MOA. My BB gun was bigger.

Late 60s .... single shot 22 from Sears and Roebuck. Lots of rabbits met their maker with that gun and Christie, my faithful german shepard became really fat.
