    I caught a case in April '07 and my chl was yanked. I was told I would have a 7 year timeout. when can I retake the class? can I take it now and send the forms off or do I have to wait till the seventh anniversary passes b4 I take it?
    also need an instructor near Tomball.

    You will be eligible 5 years from the date of conviction. Once eligible, under administrative code, you must wait 2 years from that time before they will accept an application.


    DPS does not regulate when you can take the class. An initial CHL100 is valid two years. So, you can take the class now and apply online with DPS and submit on the date your two year revocation penalty expires.
