Where do I find a cool gun range.

Tri County Gun Club in Sherwood, Oregon might be what you're looking for. FYI they had a years-long waiting list for memberships, but maybe by the time you get accepted the Rona restrictions will have settled down.

They have action-bays for IPSC / IDPA type shoots, but they have a "no muzzle over berm" rule, so you hafta learn to reload with your muzzle down or at least down range pointed at the target lest ye be shown the door by the range nazis, er, range officers.

Coming in as a newbie and telling people to shut up won't go over well here, but its a good way to get the mods to look at you and apply the time-out button - just a friendly caution. I've only been on here for a bit over a year, still feel like a n00b and I wouldn't dare tell the membership as a whole to STFU. The "ignore" feature works for those who need ignored.
