I grew up in Gainesville, everyone wore Noconas or Justins. Of course, Noconas were made in Nocona and Justins were made in Justin. I think they're all made in Mexico or China, now.
I like my Tecovas. They're also made in Mexico, but the quality is as good as I remember the US-made boots to be.
I have an old pair of black Tony Lama that are kinda dressy, an old pair of elephant Justin, and my last pair is a pair of Justin work boots that I bought at Rural King.
And, what's up with most of the bots today have the big wide square toe? They may be comfortable but I like the round toe or the narrow round toe.
