My one visit to Athena I shot in the lanes/room directly across from the range desk which I believe is one of the smaller rooms as it only had 6-8 lanes.
I'm not sure if it was louder in there or not because not long after I got started a group of three or four people set up right next to me with the rented .454 Casull (while I'm shooting 22LR rifle and pistol). Eff me!
