I've shot more .22 LR in the last month than I could replenish.

Have not seen any .22 LR at Academy since before Christmas, and I refuse to waste my time at WalMart.

Did get some .22 LR on-line for about 10 cents per round, but that was always the case over the last six years.

    What say you?

I haven't seen .22 ammo below 10 cents around at a gun show in a in while. Good luck finding something cheaper at a Gun Show.

Got a cheap-ass box of Winchester for $.045 at Academy last week. Haven't been looking for it much though. Neckbearding stash hasn't run out yet.

Gun Shack had some 325 round boxes of Federal Automatch yesterday for $24.99/box limit one per customer. Not sure if they still have it, you can give 'em a call at (210) 858-6882. They are open Monday-Friday from 10am to 6pm. Great folks there!

I think in the sort term, .22 ammo is going to be more expensive than the days of a 500 round brick for $12-15 or so. If you want .22, you can find it. A bit more expensive than before, but if you want to go out and shoot 500 rounds, you can find the cheap stuff. I wish people would just quit bitching about it and maybe the prices would wane. You know, demand drives prices.

Yes Sir - I've got piles of $.10 of fifty boxes in my stash. Academy still seems to have the bricks at half of that pretty frequently. Admittedly, not Eley, but for plinking ammo . . .

I've got an old brick that I keep around....just because..... still has the $1.42 price tag on it.

I remember bricks of remington target for $5.00 each. At the time I thought that was outrageously high. Twice what I paid for a brick of anythjng else.
