No, I was kidding because there's no way i'd pay $50 for a transfer. I go to Ryan's and pay $5 because I'm a supporting member on his forum and have a CHL.

I do plug their name quite often, but I'm nothing more than a very satisfied customer

I'm completely independant. But Fountain has done two transfers for me this year. The didn't charge for either.

The footnote to the $85 fee is that $85 worth of merchandise covers the fee. Their ammo and gear prices are fair, so instead of walking out with a hole in my pocket, I carry out a bag full of goodies.

That's actually not a bad deal if you're already planning on buying merchandise there.

J, don't ever spend a dime at Pruett's. There's not a competitive price anywhere in that store.

Go two exits up 290, turn right on Skinner, and take your business to John at Cypress Armory.

His service is better, his prices are better, his staff is, on average, more knowledgable, and he has a can do attitude about making the deal competitive with the other LGSes in town.

    He's also a TGT sponsor.

I don't know what his FFL transfer fee is, but he does enough of them that I'm sure he'd make it competitive.

X2 for Cypress Armory. I work down the street and frequent them often. Only bought a couple mags there in the past, but everyone in that shop is knowledgeable and professional. Ill will be purchasing my next gun from them in the near future.

10 ring is $15 for the first and $10 for any other at that time. They did 3 for $35 and that was with two separate people buying. Talk to Renee on the gun side, hes good people!
