Not used much as the owner had it for a couple years and now has to sell for health reasons.

I hope I don't jinx it by posting. :roflfunny:

It's light enough for my 1/2 ton truck* to handle at 6500 GVW.
*GMC 1500 max trailering package - 10,500 GVW/6.2L/6 speed auto.

you need to figure about 500 lbs for gear and other stuff. If you fill the fresh water tank, thats about 300 lbs right there.
but that 6.2 will handle it just fine
the only other thing I will say is tires, tires, tires.... if you have chinese tires (and you most likely do)get rid of them and get some good trailer tires on there.

if you blow a tire towing a travel trailer you stand a good chance of tearing your underside all to hell.
there are no wheel wells on those things to protect your plumbing and underside.

I had to call 3 dealers till I found some USA made tires

In a Wave? Kind of generalized ... anything give you trouble in particular?
It has thermostatically controlled central heat/air ... was that an issue?

It's TOO nice for a lease trailer. But, it'll have to do. ;)
We want to take our grandkids and show them Texas. This will be perfect with bed up front and bunks in the back.

I was curious about the new 6 speed auto trans put behind the 6.2.
Tech said it was rated to 1200 HP.

Some things I now need to source ...

    a couple spare tires
    sway control
    brake controller

Tekonsha P2 and probably a Reese sway control
I have history with those units ... anyone have a better suggestion?

are you going with a weight distribution hitch or just a anti sway bar or both?

Not the same make or model, just a tt. V nose r-vision trail bay.
Components are all the same. AC, fridge, stove top & oven, toilets.......

Teonsh is top of the line, if I was hauling grandkids, i'd have one.
Reese is a good hitch. I had an equalizer, kinda noisy but steady in crosswinds and storms.

Even if it is going to be parked at the lease, get some kind of tire covers. Even if you just cut down a sheet of plywood

Keep an eye on the hot water heater. Over a period of time, both long and short, it'll need replacing. Done it in all three of my trailers.

Put a secondary screen @ hot water vent to keep mud dobbers out. Personal experience.

Other than keeping vents and filters clean, you should be in great shape.

    Good looking rig.

Is this the same one that's all caught up in probate and you were going to drag it all over the country w/o tags or title? ... lol

    Hope you enjoy it!

If the water is hot, why does it need a heater?

One of my MANY pet peeves. ;)

Drain it COMPLETELY in the Winter time. My buddy drained his but still lost a hose. Apparently a trap in the toilet water line froze up (not the drain trap, but the water line).

All three of the water heaters I replaced were due to rust/sediment in the tank or lines breaking or leaking at or near the tank base that caused the rust. I started putting a few sheets of newspaper under the tank,or as close to as possible, and checked it each time I took out the trash. That's how I noticed when the last tank went out.
