This Winchester 94 Lone Star Commemorative is a lever action rifle which fires the .30-30 round. It has a gold receiver with a blued 26" round/half octagon barrel. This new rifle was manufactured in 1970 to commemorate Texas, with only 55,259 produced (total rifles & carbines). It has an adjustable rear sight and a saddle ring. Gold highlights include the receiver with engraved stars, the lever, the cap on the magazine tube, the fore tip, and the curved butt plate. This rifle has a Lone Star Commemorative medallion in the stock and etchings which include: TEXAS, 1, and Under Six Flags. Absolutely beautiful gun that is in great condition

Ohhhh. My range has a "No steel core ammo sign". Never saw the sign that forbids engraved firearms.
